Ophthalmology, Potomac Eye Surgeons - Lawrence M. Levinson, MD, PA and Laurie J. Wenger, MD

An Eye M.D. is an Ophthalmologist - a medical doctor who specializes in eye and vision care. Eye M.D.s are specially trained to provide the full spectrum of eye care -- medical, surgical, and optical.

Dr. Levinson established his ophthalmology practice in Potomac, MD over 26 years ago. He has a tradition of gentle, personalized eye care. His daughter, Dr. Wenger has joined his practice to continue this tradition.

Both Dr. Levinson and Dr. Wenger are board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and have numerous credit hours of continuing medical education. They are both active fellows of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Levinson and Dr. Wenger are both graduates of the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Levinson completed his residency there as well. Dr. Wenger completed her training at the North Shore University Hospital/NYU School of Medicine. She went on to full time academic practice at this facility in New York prior to joining her father in practice.

Both doctors have admitting privileges at Suburban Hospital and Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Dr. Wenger serves on the Eye Trauma Service at Suburban Hospital.
