Meet the Doctors

Dr. Levinson

Dr. Lawrence Levinson graduated from Cornell University and completed his medical education at George Washington University School of Medicine, where he remained to complete his ophthalmic residency. He is is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has a long tradition of gentle, personalized eye care. 


Dr. Wenger

Dr. Laurie Wenger has been recognized as one of Washington’s Top Doctors by Washingtonian Magazine for 2012. She graduated from Cornell University and received her professional education from George Washington University School of Medicine and went on to complete her ophthalmic residency at North Shore University Hospital. Practicing since 1999, Dr. Wenger is an active member of her profession and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and member of Women in Ophthlmology. In addition, she also holds the honor of being board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Wenger believes in giving back to the community. She provides voluntary medical services to Primary Care Coalition’s Project Access, which assists low-income families in finding medical care. She is the recipent of the 2013 Mary C. Jackson "Good Works, Done Well" Award for demonstrating commitment and courage in serving underpriveleged and underserved families.  She also participes in Eye Care America, providing free eye care for the medically underserved.

Dr. Wenger has admitting privileges at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and Montgomery Surgery Center. She is committed to providing the caring, individualized attention that each patient deserves.

Both of our doctors are members of the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington.
