LAURIE J. WENGER MD
Practicing since 1999, Dr. Wenger is an active member of her profession. She continues to maintain her board certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of Women in Ophthalmology. She is the recipient of the 2013 Mary C. Jackson "Good Works, Done Well" Award for demonstrating commitment and courage in serving underprivileged and underserved families.

Dr. Wenger provides voluntary medical services to Primary Care Coalition's Project Access, which assists low-income families in finding medical care. She also participates in Eye Care America, providing free eye care for the medically underserved. Additionally, Dr. Wenger regularly volunteers at the Children's Inn at NIH and other community organizations, especially those with a focus on brain tumor research.
